GARDEN OF
KINDNESS
On a bright May bank holiday,
about a dozen St James folk donned gloves and set to clearing a
garden overgrown with brambles, briers, ivy and weeds. In a matter
of a few hours the place was transformed and what was a jungle was
turned back into a garden.
All this work (which took from 9:00am thru to 5:00pm to complete)
was part of our contribution to the million hours of kindness – part
of the Southam Hope ’08 project. In all, this task saw over 100
hours of kindness given voluntarily and with pleasure.
